Two years ago, I posted about my brother Tim (who is also a pastor, 김현회 목사) has had a speech impediment and has not been able to use his right hand/arm over the past five years due to a rare brain disease (PML), which meant no more ministry. Nevertheless, as a result of his pastor-friends' and former colleagues' longing and efforts to make his teachings available, his first book was published—it was a miracle by God!
• God’s work through Tim still continues today. Recently, two more books have been published (“성도다운 교회다운” & “신앙으로 복음으로”). Tim’s first book was from his Bible survey lecture-notes, but this time, the two books are a selective compliance from his pastoral column in Sunday bulletins of Clay Jars Church. I am overjoyed for this!
• These two new books cover various topics and issues in the Christian life, the gospel, and the church. My prayer is that these books would be read by many Korean-speaking Christians (and the aging parents of my Korean-American friends) for a quiet revival toward a God-centered life and gospel-infused perspective in all things. Praise be to sovereign God who continues to use my brother for His glory!!!
